Walking out into the open meadow, her nostrils flared, the sun hitting the heavenly form below it. The saphire sky shone an azure blue, with no clouds to be seen for miles. It was a beautiful summer's day but appearances can be decieving. Hooves slicing through the hardened turf with ease as she walked across the land, a darkly silence around her. Life seemed to die in her wake, a deathly glow about her otherwise heavenly grey form. Her strong and powerful muscles rippled underneath her silky pelt as her deep dark eyes took in everything around her. Hearing a twig snap, her ears flicked towards the source, her head soon following suit as she brought her form to a halt.

A large ebon brute walked into the meadow from behind her, his black orbs watching her. A beautiful one he had thought when he first saw her, yet he knew she would be a challenge. Silently, he stood a few feet away, continuing to watch the gray mare. Stepping on a twig, it snapped and he cursed silently under his breath. Picking up his piston, he halted and could tell she knew he was there behind her. Flicking back his auds and turning his dial to look at the mare's face, he snorted loudly.

A bay stallion watched from a long distance, never understanding why dark mares were always so beautiful. To seduce and kill stallions? Most likely. He shook his head and flicked forward his auds to see a ebon brute following the angelic mare. Sighing, he turned and trotted away.

Not to long after seeing a bay stallion trotting away a pinto gypsy-vanner galloped toward the mare, his blue glowing orbs saw the ebony stallion lagging behind and new he couldn't pass up a chance to get the mare. Being new in that valley he knew that he couldn't compete with such expirience. He stopped ten feet away from the mare and stomped his trunk. "What is your name. he commanded more than asked
